The #NHSBigTea is coming on Monday 5th July, the NHS’s birthday. It’s a national celebration of our amazing NHS staff – ordinary, yet extraordinary people who continue to go above and beyond for us and our loved ones.

Together, we’ll pour out our love, thanks, joy and reflection, and help raise funds to support our NHS champions, who need us more than ever.

To help raise money, we will be holding a non-uniform day for a suggested donation of £1. Please remember that whatever your child is wearing, it must be suitable for their usual school activities and appropriate for outdoor play. Please can we ask that children do not wear cropped tops.

Unfortunately due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are unable to accept cash into school, therefore we have sent up a CwR giving page. To make your donation please follow the link below;

Clifton with Rawcliffe Primary School

Clifton Alliance are a local voluntary led cricket club that provide National Programmes and local league cricket for children that would like to play cricket. They run training sessions and teams from ages 5 to 19. They are open to new members from primary schools on all of their age groups and are also launching a new, girls only, ECB Dynamos Programme for 8 to 11 yr olds on the 9th July for 8 weeks.

York Schools will be taking part in 'Walk to School Week' Monday 14th- Friday 18th June. It is also 'Clean Air Day' Thursday 17th June.

We'd like to see as many of you as we can walking, biking and scooting to school rather than travelling by car. This helps to reduce traffic outside the school gates, keeps us fit and reduces air pollution.

Thursday afternoons 12.45 to 2.45pm for 4 weeks starting 17th June, online via Zoom.

Time Out for Parents - the Teenage Years:

Big Pedal 2021 Results!

67.5% of the school travelled to school by walking, biking or scooting across our best 5 days over the 2weeks. We had 55.6% supporters join in.

From the 15th March, Claire Bower from St Mark's Church and Emily Nelson will be taking in donations and packing up hampers for families who need a little extra support in these challenging times.

Day: Every Monday from 15th March
When: Between 1:30 & 2:15pm

The hampers will be distributed by the school on the same day so fresh food (bread, eggs, fruit, veg) is appreciated as well as non perishable items (pasta, pasta sauce, beans, rice pudding etc).

16th out of 45 schools in Yorkshire and the Humber.
6th out of 9 schools in York.
