Joe Wicks - The Body Coach is holding LIVE PE sessions next week from 9am (Mon-Fri) on his YouTube channel. Get the kids up and moving!I produce so much free fitness content online and I never ask for anything in return but today I need your help 🙏🏼 I need your support to help spread this online so as many parents as possible know that this is an option for them to use next week. I am holding LIVE PE lessons at 9am Monday to Friday on my YouTube channel for children of all ages. All I need is for you to screen shot this and post it on your wall, story, Twitter, facebook, whatsapp, linked in and anywhere else. Parents are going to be under pressure next week and for 30 minutes a day I can take over and inspire and energise the kids to get active, bounce around and have fun. Important Information regarding COVID-19

Dear Parents / Carers

Following the latest guidance on self isolation, if any member of the same household shows any symptoms including persistent cough and/or temperature the whole family must now self isolate for 14 days.

Any children who are currently self isolating for 7 days must now extend that to 14 days from the first day of symptoms. This applies to every member of the household even though they may not have any symptoms currently.

Further guidance will be issued by Pathfinder Multi Academy Trust tomorrow.

The Governing body met on Tuesday 3rd March 2020. The minutes of the previous meeting held on Monday 2nd December 2019 were approved as a correct record of the meeting. The governing body then invited, approved and welcomed Mr John Sharpe as a governor. John has kindly agreed to act as our Chair of Governors during an important time of transition for the governing body.

Firstly, we heard from our Head of Business and Operations, Mrs Johnson, who delivered a finance update for the school.

Mrs Wright then updated the governors on the latest advice regarding Safeguarding within school. The governors would like to thank everything that the CwR staff and wider community do to keep students safe.

Finally, Mr Herbert gave us his Headteacher’s Report. He updated the governors on the important work that is being undertaken on the CwR curriculum.

Parent Consultations and Coronavirus/Covid-19 Update

The meetings with teachers this evening is going ahead as planned. The latest advice is not saying we should cancel or postpone and we continue to receive daily updates from Public Health England and the Local Authority.

All our schools in the Trust are fully open and operating as usual, but this is an ever changing picture and we will keep you fully informed about any future changes. I am waiting for an update today which I will send out to all parents and carers tomorrow.

If you are not wishing to attend your appointment today, please would you let us know so these appointments can be reallocated.
