What a fabulous afternoon it was! Photos to follow… 🎵🎤☀️A fantastic afternoon at Clifton with Rawcliffe Primary School judging their Last Choir Standing competition in the sunshine.

Brilliant performances from across the whole school. It was so difficult to pick a winner - but here they are!

YO1 Radio's Chris Marsden and Dave Parker with the winning Year 3 team following their fabulous rendition of Abba's Dancing Queen.

Dear Parents / Carers

High temperatures are being forecast for our Last Choir Standing event on Friday afternoon. We have some school gazebos but would be very grateful if anyone is able to lend us theirs to give the children as much shade as possible.

If you are able to help us out please can you drop them off on Friday morning. If you are also able to stay and help put them up that will be great but we can manage if you have other arrangements. Please tie something onto your gazebo so you can easily recognise it when collecting.

Join us for the afternoon at our inaugural CwR Fest on Friday the 16th June!

From 1.15pm - Families are invited to pull up a picnic blanket to enjoy some singing in the sunshine (hopefully!) as year groups perform a song each to win the coveted Last Choir Standing winners trophy.

3:15pm - 5pm - We will open our gates to host our very first music festival with special guests; soprano Rebecca Newman, Spotlight Dance, Archbishop Holgate's Academy Choir and our very own CwR Stars Junior Choir! Enjoy browsing our stalls, winning fabulous prizes at our raffle and tombola, pamper yourself at our nail bar, get your own back by splatting your favourite teacher and so much more!

⭐️ Please let us know if you are able to help set up and run stalls or bake cakes or scones for our cream tea refreshment tent - email: admin@cwr.pmat.academy if you are able to help. All support is hugely appreciated!
