At Clifton with Rawcliffe Primary School, we are proud of our pupil voice groups as they represent the views and opinions of the most important people in the school, our children.  Through participation in these groups our children gain an understanding of how citizens can influence decision making.  For children not directly elected to a pupil voice role, they learn how a representative body makes decisions in their best interests.  This teaches them the key principles of democracy.

Our pupil voice groups provide opportunities for pupils to enhance leadership skills and prepare them for secondary transition and adult life.  They provide the basis for active learning of important life skills.

At Clifton with Rawcliffe we have a wide range of pupil voice groups:

  • School Prefects including Senior Prefects
  • School Council
  • Librarians
  • Eco Council
  • Playground Pals
  • Playground Leaders
